I am from Minot, ND and moved to The Twin Cities as soon as I graduated from high school. I attended college at Globe University for Veterinary Technology and graduated in 2010. I passed my VTNE and became certified in 2011. I started working at a general practice soon after. I have also had experiences working in emergency medicine and specialty surgery over the last 10 years. 

I was the fortunate child that was never denied a pet, as long as I knew how to properly care for it. I have had many dogs, cats, birds, lizards, snakes, and pocket pets throughout my life. I had originally thought I wanted to be a journalist, but my mind was quickly changed when I saw an advertisement for Veterinary Technician classes. I love working with patients and their families, and I would not trade my job for the world.

I love sewing and crafting in my spare time. As of recently I have been learning quilting techniques and love it! I really enjoy finding new adventures to explore with my husband and daughter. We currently have three cats, some fish, and a Flemish Giant bunny.
