I obtained my bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry at Wheaton College in Illinois. I then completed a research term at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri before receiving my doctorate of veterinary medicine from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. My interests include internal medicine, preventative medicine and ophthalmology. A native of Minnesota, I returned to the Twin Cities after graduation and cherish time with my young nephews and niece. I enjoy baking, classic movies, and reading mysteries and biographies. I live in Minneapolis with my lab, Gus, a champion tennis ball retriever.
