I first found my love for animals as a child watching documentaries and reading about all different species. Much of my free time is spent in the great outdoors hiking, kayaking, camping, and walking my 3 dogs. My fascination with wildlife drew me to complete an internship at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center where I worked with the avian nursery team to rehabilitate and release  songbirds and waterfowl. Now that I have found a passion for clinical medicine, I'm excited to continue gaining education and experience in this field.
