I was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. After completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at the University of Minnesota, I earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. After graduating, I moved to Gainesville, Florida where I spent a year working as an associate veterinarian at a local practice. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Florida, I could not be more happy to now be back home in Minnesota. My special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, dentistry, behavior, and end of life care. Getting to know my clients and patients, and working together to develop the best care plan for their family is one of the most rewarding aspects of veterinary medicine for me. In my free time I enjoy being outside running, hiking, and cross country skiing with my significant other (Zack) and our two Labrador Retrievers (Dakota and Winnie).
