Like most in our field, I've always loved animals. My career in animals started at Petco where I took care of the animals, spent time as a dog trainer then picked up dog grooming. I became a dog and cat groomer for several years then graduated college and entered the mental health field as a receptionist and quickly made my way into an Office Manager role. After several years as an Officer Manager for a mental health clinic in Maplewood, I moved into a Practice Manager role in the Veterinary field.

While I love animals, I also love people and all their complexities. I live in Northeast Minneapolis with my husband Caleb, my 16 year old daughter Fiona and my 11 year old son Tatum. We also have a small zoo including our bulldog/pittie, 3 cats, 2 birds, a snake and a tarantula. My favorite hobbies include arts and crafts, keeping insects, video games, and reading.
